We really like these apartments, they are warm, clean, quite big, all have balconies, quiet (not many, if any groups of loud youngsters). The reception staff we have always found to be very helpful and polite (good job Stefan). We have experienced all the sizes of apartment over the years of returning back from the 4 person, 6 person to the 8 person and they have not dissapointed. The swimming pool is nice to have as an option to relax after skiing.
We would have given a 5 for the rating but like Dragojevic V (previous reviewer) it would be really nice to have some hooks in the apartment hallway/lobby for wet ski clothing! Love the place cannot wait to return. We only got back last week and are in the process of booking again for xmas/new year, bring it on!!! As for parking judge your arrival time very carefully, parking at a premium.

Room Tip: I always ask for slope facing, but with the 4 person apartment that is probably what you will get a...

We are very satisfied and we would like to come next year too.
There are a few not so important things that I have missed:
- in apartment would be handy to have a few hooks in corridor to hang the wet ski throusers to dry outside the wardrobe.
- in the change-cabins in the swimming pool could also be a few hooks more to hang the clothes. There can also be some more showers in the pool. They can be organized as two shared showers one for men and one for women.
So, that is all I have noticed that can be improved. Everything else was more than OK.
Best regards, Vinjeta Dragojevic

We stayed here during the school half term (2 adults and 2 small kids). Traveling here could be quite expensive if you landed in the evening at Grenoble as there is no bus service to the ski resort. You need to take a taxi which costed us GBP 600 return. If you can, try to avoid evening flight. Once you are here, the hotel and the ski area are great. Hotel is very basic but comfortable enough. We stayed In a apartment for 4 which is quite tight. If we would come back here again we will definitely book an apartment for 6. Unfortunate we did not have time to use any of its extra facilities. Wifi is available in the small lobby. You can hire a private router for your own room but you have to be very quick to book one!

Staffs are very nice and helpful. Location is good, less than a minute walk from the slope. This little square has an excellent bakery, a ski pass office, a ski school, children ski training area, Skiset shop, souvenir shop, launderette, a super market and unfortunately a terrible restaurant.

Would be great if the apartment has an oven and a frying pan in the kitchen.

We stayed here over new year 2012-13 along with 3 other families we holiday with and we were given adjoining rooms straightaway.
The rooms are basic but comfortable with everything you need to self cater and you are only about 50 yards from piste.
Reception staff were very helpful.
Only bad points:
1. Car parking in 1800 and 1900 is a nightmare. Be prepard to be double/triple parked and boxed in or park further down the mountain!
2. Reception for check in doesnt open until 4.00pm and it's a bit of a scramble to better to wait until 5.30 when queues have gone. Enjoy a drink at Les Lauzes nearby whilst the rest fight it out!

Will definitely look at coming again.

Just back from a week here. This is the third time we have stayed here. We have always found these apartments good value with almost immediate access to the slopes. We were a group of friends with children aged between 8-15. I emailed the residence before going to ask if we could have our apartments close and they emailed back straight away to say yes no problem. When we arrived we had apartments opposite each other which was perfect.

The main problem with these apartments is the parking situation. If you get to resort in the morning then parking will be ok but if like us due to traffic in Chambrey we didnt get there until 8pm then there was no parking available outside the residence and the cars had to be parked way down the road which was a nightmare. There is underground parking available at a cost but there was no spots available. You can pre-book so best advise is to pay the extra to get a parking stop.

Free wifi in reception is good and we used the pool which was fine although a little chilly. Overall we really like this place and would not hesitate going back. Its not luxury but it is affordable accommodation in a good location.

Avoid rooms 205 305 and 405, these are situated to the side of the stairwell resulting in part of the room being cut off with room only for bunk beds. Our apartment was supposedly a four person but wasn't even suitable for two. The pillows and bedding were dirty and fusty and the apartment full of dust dirt and cobwebs. The microwave cut out if used for more than ten minutes and the dishwasher leaked. The attitude of the desk staff was beyond a joke, due to miscommunication we expected our deposit to be taken from the credit card we paid on and the details to have been kept by the hotel, When this wasn't the case and we didn't have the funds to pay the deposit, without notifying us the lock on our door was changed! Also be aware that a tourist tax will be taken from your deposit at checkout.
The resort itself is exceptional value for money as our package included our lift pass but the resort is not suitable for beginners or anybody wanting to experience apre ski.

Dear Sausanne,

The arrivals are theoretically between 4pm and 7pm.
We have organized your arrival to allow you to get your apartment during the night.
This emergency service had not allow us, exceptionally, to ask for your deposit at arrival.
It is stipulated on all our support, that the keys of the apartment are given, only against a deposit. This deposit serves as a guarantee for the material inside the apartment.
The next day of your arrival, you had to meet us at the reception for giving us this deposit.
Around 12.30pm, even if the office was closed, we met you.
You told us about your disappointment regarding the bunk beds in your bedroom and a problem of pillow.
We made, immediately, the necessary for your pillow and we proposed you to change your apartment but against your deposit.

As you didn’t want to give us the deposit, we couldn’t satisfy your request.

Regarding the turist tax, and the fact that you didn’t have the funds to pay the deposit: we are not responsible.
To note that the stay conditions in our residence regarding the turist tax and the deposit are stipulated in all our websites.
