Firstly, I would also like to agree that Sammy & Johnny did a great job - I have learnt how much difference a 'good host', as opposed to 'a host' makes to a chalet holiday . They weren't made aware that there would be any children staying that week until I turned up with two - they had kids meal options and hot chocolate etc sorted out in no time. Not to mention the fact that two of us could net eat cheese (I forgot to leave my email, so if you read this Sammy/Johnny - please send me a message to let me know where you will be next season)
The chalet itself is in a good location, the downstairs is a good size but overall, particularly the upstairs, it's a bit of a hostel.
As other reviews point out, the stairs / ladders to the sleeping areas in the bedrooms are quite steep, but more importantly (for anyone over the age of 5) really creaky and noisy - to the point where you dont want to have to go down to the loo in the middle of the night as the floor/stairs creaking will wake everyone up.
We got a really good late deal and were very pleased. Having looked at the prices for next half term, I really do think that there are better places out there for the money they are asking - like Canada!
P.S take your own teabags
