We needed a birthday celebratory meal while waiting for our train so we phoned the Savoyard and the staff were all so nice and were also totally fine with storing all our ski luggage (8 people's worth!) while we ate...not something you'd normally expect from a busy restaurant. The food was all superb, my french onion soup and steak frites were perfect. Lovely cosy feel to the restaurant, mainly locals eating there and all very reasonably priced too. Fondue's and perriades looked good on other people's tables and would like to have been able to stay for desserts but the train was calling. Our second time at Savoyard and it won't be our last. For anyone coming off the mountains with luggage and waiting for a train this is the restaurant for you!
