BUYER BEWARE - BAIT AND SWITCH Booked at Les Crazats - a Pierre & Vacances ("P&V") property. Turned up at reception desk with the family, receptionist politely explained we had been moved to another property, to which we were supposed to have consented... Ended up in a very noisy sub-par apartment above some bars instead (where a folding divider door obviously made it qualify as a one bedroom, black mould finished off the bathroom nicely - instead of the touted amenities of Les Crozats!).
No excuses from P&V (in fact my travel agent could not get any info out of them re this for days), reimbursed 15% of the cost and that was it (apart from the reaction "ÿou are lucky to have an apartment, sir!").

However with the P&V approach, you could end up booked in a property touted as New & Fresh, but is in fact unfinished / in part still being built (and behind schedule, as I understand from the builders). At peak hours (arrival / departure day), you could be waiting for hours for any other option.
Re expectation of service level in this town in general - the guys running the luggage sleighs you can rent like shopping carts back and forth are actuallyamong the most service oriented individuals of Avoriaz (excluding the folks at Ski Nation ski rental and some of the Ski Set stores) - bit of a worry!
From experience, I don''t believe P&V lets you choose anything. Rear of the buildings fa...
