“We'll be back!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

We highly recommend the Vira Bali, we stayed there a month ago for 16 days and cannot fault it. The staff are all amazing, they go out of there way to stop and greet you, have a chat etc. The boutique style accomodation is fantastic, very modern, very clean and very comfortable. The bed was so amazing we wanted to bring it home. It is located very centrally to shopping, waterbom park, but is very quiet. We will definitely be back next year.

Fantastic hotel, very friendly staff and close to everything in kuta. Not crowded like other hotels, great value for money. Highly recommend this hotel as it feels homely with staff taking the time to learn and remember your name.

I have stayed at the Vira Bali many times on our way to West Timor and Flores with a volunteer surgical team.
We only stay a night in transit but the service and friendliness we receive each time is exceptional.
The rooms are very comfortable, the best soft pillows ever.!!
The staff always greet us with such kindness and now remember us from all our stays.
The staff in the dining room always remember us as well.
When we return on our way home it is such a welcome relief to arrive and to feel so comfortable.
I always look forward to returning.
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

From start to checking in to leaving at check out, we could not have been happier. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My husband got sick with a stomach upset and they even gave him some medication to help. The room was slightly on the small side but overall the ambience, warmth, personal service was just awesome compared to some of the bigger hotels where you are basically running from one pool to another or walk a long way to get to reception etc. One of the male staff went out of his way to get us some Bali Cider which we could not find in the bottle shop. That deserved a tip I think! This hotel had it all if you want something a bit quieter and receive more personal service which is what we got! One pool, one restaurant but wonderful service. Definitely going back. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for the younger ones who like to party and make noise...haha Thanks to all the staff, you know who you are. Love Liz and Jeff, stayed there 12th May to 21 May 2014.

Room Tip: If you like easy access to cool off in the pool, ask for the pool access rooms..no need to climb sta...

This hotel is the best value in Kuta.10 mins walking from beach (on holiday inn side) , near by places have enough of eating options - Asian to Indian, Japanese to Thai all .24 hrs mart are available so if you need water or want to recharge your mobile it is there. Spa offers of fish spa, banana spa etc are there at good price.Local sight seeing arrangers are aplenty.Lot of scope for negotiation for the rides. Lot of options for money changers. Pl walk a bit and find out the best .Coz you might find that the place from where you exhanged @ rate of 11300, the next door might also offr you 11900, i experienced it the first day hence was careful from next day onwards. Staff is very very cordial and in breakfast please include more options for the vegetarian people. Not only juice and fruits but in the dishes as well. We were in the time of Galungan hence the city was decked to the most.Awesome environment. They offer free cycles to the guest - this is the best best being in Bali to explore the city. The Hotspot area should be renovated in the sense - pl provide more desktops and a better wi-fi. Room has a wi-fi but assume that it goes-off on its own after a certain limit.

Room Tip: Rooms on 4th floor are quiet and take the ones on the side of swimming pool with centre-side balconi...

I stayed here for over 1 week and can say that almost everything is of a very good standard. Staff are professional, rooms are nice, pool is very inviting and the hotel has 24/7 security at the front of the building.

For me there was only one downfall, which was the breakfast. It was 95% the same every day. After more than a week of the same stuff with very little choice you may get very boring. So don't be expecting a great buffet.

Room Tip: Check to see there they can pick you and drop you to/from the airport for free. Apparently they do b...

We stayed at The Vira as 2 couples in the deluxe pool access rooms. Greeted at the airport by Vira staff and welcome drink upon arrival at the hotel. Staff were always smiling and helpful. Rooms, pool and hotel in general were very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable, I didnt love my pillow but my husband was happy with his. Bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover however it is very clean and functional. Just be careful you dont slip as shower is over the bath, there is a non slip mat provided. Rooms are good for sleeping and if its too dark for you simply turn on the light. People have complained about the church bells on the Sunday morning but we loved it!! They dont go for long, only a few minutes. Breakfast had a good variety, plenty to choose from. We had lunch and cocktails by the pool a few times, always a good feed, drink and top rate service. The pool is very clean and a nice temperature. Rooms were reasonably quiet at night time so sleep quality was good. It is only a 5-10 minute walk to Discovery Mall. New hypo mart is directly over the road. Beach is 10 minute walk. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Vira and would highly recommend it for anyone wanting accommodation in Bali.

Room Tip: If you are a couple the pool access rooms are fabulous as you walk straight out your door and the po...
