“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

Our first trip to Bermuda will certainly not be our last. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was very good, we were greeted on arrival and the transfer was comfortable and informative. The island is beautiful and the people were very friendly. The hotel met expectations, friends had recommended it and we were delighted to find an efficient staff and wonderful suite overlooking the ocean with spectacular sunsets. The Tamarisk restaurant was very good, breakfast and dinner. The Breezes restaurant was a bit pretentious with a limited menu that didn't change unfortunately. Our sweet had dual aircon, jacuzzi and twin flat screens - well appointed and very comfortable. No request was too much trouble, staff were very friendly and courteous. We have booked our return for next year.

Room Tip: Ocean view and one of the refurbished rooms - the suites near the tennis courts are in earshot of a...

My husband and I went to Cambridge Beaches last month. It was the best vacation we've ever had and worth every penny! I can't make one complaint. The entire stay was first rate from beginning to end. The people are lovely, helpful and gracious. The food was just awesome and you can eat/drink pretty much anywhere, including the pool, beach, or your room. The property is magical and offers some of the most exquisite views you'll ever see. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing, but not dull in any way. The only bad part....leaving! We can't wait to go back!

I stayed at Cambridge beaches during a recent trip to Bermuda. The hotel has one of my favorite beaches on the island with an amazing bar and restaurant - Breezes- where you can sit and enjoy the food and get a casual yet delicious meal. Ask for McRee! He is the cocktail master at Cambridge. Tamarisk is also a great restaurant on the premises. The views from all parts of the resort are incredible, including our room. Spa services were also very nice. I got an aromatherapy massage. The facilities were great and the service at the spa was fantastic.

My only criticisms are the following: first, that the concierge was not proactive at all in giving us advice. You need to know what you want to do and when and then ask a ton of questions. She was perfectly nice, but as a first time visitor to the island I would have expected a bit more of an overview of advice, travel tips and so forth. We had to learn by mistake, for example, that certain forms of transportation are available at only limited hours. Second, the free shuttle only runs to the dockyard to catch the ferry, stops at 3pm and does not make any other stops. It would be nice to have a bus to drop you off at a few other popular locations. Cabs run $75 plus tip to go to the other side of the island.

This is a great resort in a beautiful location that is very well maintained. All of the staff that we had interaction with provided excellent customer service. I highly recommend this resort whether you are traveling for business or pleasure.

We just spent 5 days at Cambridge Beaches. It was our first time there but have already booked for same time next year. My husband and I were looking for a place to decompress, enjoy beautiful water views from our balcony and do nothing or everything.....we got exactly that!
The accommodations are beautiful, service excellent and the beaches, views are fantastic! Restaurants were wonderful, though only 2 plus pool cafe, you can go to other venues to try different restaurants.
While there is lots to do if you choose. An indoor pool and outdoor pool, plus did I mention 4 private different beaches and lots of water sport stuff available. It is only 15 minutes from best golf course on the island.. Spa was wonderful, had a lovely massage.
The setting is such that you feel like you are the only people there, until you are at meals or perhaps at pool.

My daughter-in-law and I spent 4 nights here recently and very much enjoyed our stay.
We loved the smaller size of the property and the quality of their amenities. We also appreciated the complementary shuttle to the ferry boats, and that there is a bus stop quite close to the gates. The concierge was very nice to work with, and gave us great suggestions. Make sure you have one of Mac's wonderful drinks at the Breezes bar while enjoying the water view.

Cambridge Beaches is magnificent. My husband and I stayed there to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary in early June. The cottages are a little dated but very spacious and clean. Step outside the room, and the property is a visual feast. The beaches and pool area are spectacular. The dining options include eating right on the brach at Breezes, relaxing on the terrace or in the more upscale dining room at Tamarisk and having lunch delivered to your lounge chair on the beach or at the beautiful infinity pool. The concierge and other front desk staff are experts in making your stay pleasant and effortless. All the people who work here are pleasant, professional and friendly.

We have visited Bermuda many times because of the ease of travel from the east coast and the island paradise it offers. I'm so glad we gave Cambridge Beaches a shot. When we return it will always be to this awesome destination.
