What a wonderful stay at Tucker's Point! The hotel is so luxurious and the rooms at even the most basic level are beautiful, luxurious, large and heavenly. The hotel is designed to maximize the views at every angle and those views are quite something! The hotel's close proximity to the airport allows you to take advantage of all the property has to offer right up to the very last minute of your stay in Bermuda and believe me, you will want to soak up those views and relaxing environment. Probably the strongest selling point of the hotel is the very friendly yet professional staff. Whenever I travel in the islands, I always expect that hotel staff will be incredibly friendly, but the staff at Tucker's Point far exceeded those expectations. You were made to feel as if you were guests in their home, not just a hotel where they worked. I must specifically commend Levon, the friendliest bellhop I have ever encountered, Ashley at the front desk who couldn't be more welcoming or accommodating, and Dyrone from travel services who just seemed to pop up wherever we were on the resort looking to see if we needed a ride back. We also dined at the Point for a celebratory dinner and lunches and the food was fresh (I wouldn't have been surprised if they had just reeled my monkfish in before putting it on my plate) and delicious and the service was great. I also enjoyed a spa service and found the spa environment to be quite relaxing and soothing. The only critiques I would give result from having such high expectations of this resort that were almost always met and exceeded and the fact that the room rates are at a quite high price point. So, I was disappointed that the treadmill that I was using in the fitness center shut down 3/4 of the way through my work out only to hear from the attendant that sometimes that machine does that. Well, if you know that machine doesn't work from time to time, replace it and replace it quickly. I was paying for exceptional service and I expected it consistently. Also, the water temperature and pressure in the shower randomly varied (sometimes to super hot) without touching a button. Lastly, one of the servers in the bar appeared to not have been trained well as she wasn't very knowledgeable of the drink menu and also put olive garnishes in sweet martinis. Regardless of these blips, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property on my next trip to Bermuda.
