“Excellent Hotel, Perfect for Canada's Wonderland and Shopping”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

Stayed here with my group last month for the first time. Location was great! We hosted a party at the Dave & Busters in the same parking lot. There are also other food and entertainment options in very close walking distance. For any of you Ikea fans out there, it's right next door as well!

We visited Canada's Wonderland from the hotel and it was an easy and quick drive away.

Lobby was very inviting and had food options for purchase.

We had previously stayed at the nearby Monte Carlo Inn but much preferred the Courtyard, we will be back again next visit.

Room Tip: If you're a roller coaster fan, ask for an upper floor room on the side of the hotel which faces...

If you're visiting the park, this is a great hotel for it. You can see the taller rides from the building. This hotel is very nice and comfortable. The beds are just wonderful! I thought the bathroom was too small for a hotel of such a caliber, but it wasn't unbearable. Beware the bottle of water sitting on your dresser! If you drink it, you will be charged for it! The offerings in the lobby (food and drink) are pretty expensive, so it's best to probably go to a restaurant for breakfast. Great hotel though!

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Friendly, courteous and attentive staff. Easy access and very convenient for visiting Cananda's Wonderland (less than 15 minute north on Jane Street). Indoor pool made for the perfect ending to a long day at the park. Only complaint: noisy air conditioner. Lots of restaurant choices in the area. (Tip: the self-serve restaurant in the nearby IKEA store is definitely worth a visit; a family can have a great meal under $25).

We came to Canada to visit Toronto and Niagara Falls. Chose this hotel because it was located close enough to Toronto without having to pay Toronto price. Nice hotel. Clean, adequate space for 3. Didn't visit the pool or gym. There was no breakfast provided but there was a bistro in the lobby as well as computer and coffee stations. The hotel is located in a lot with lots of entertainment and food options. There is also a Walmart across the street as well as an IKEA!!

This hotel, at the junction of Hwy 400 and Hwy 407 (toll), is well situated for those who have their own transportation, and have business in the area. The rooms are large and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a reasonable restaurant located in the lobby, mostly for breakfast, sandwiches, soup etc. The hotel is located in a vast big box mall. There are several pubs, restaurants and, I think a nightclub and lots of unused space. Black Creek Pioneer Village and York U. are reasonably close by.
There doesn't appear to be much in the way of bus or subway service nearby. A taxi to downtown costs $50-$60.

My boyfriend and I returned to the courtyard for our second stay on a recent trip last weekend. As before we were greeted by friendly happy employees, and got a room with spa jacuzzi tub. We loved the patio and the king bed, it was so clean and comfortable and drapes were dark enough we slept in. We enjoyed a night out for dinner across the lot at Dave and busters, great food, surroundings and service, then Berlin nightclub nearby for a few drinks. Upon returning to our room poured a jacuzzi only to realize the jets were not functioning, now this was pretty late, around 130-2 am so we called front desk who sent security straight away within minutes to have a look. He wasn't able to fix it but we were offered another room with jacuzzi and patio. Only inconvenience was gathering our personal items and moving to another room but it was done quickly, politely and professionally. The security man was great. The front desk also discounted us for our trouble. We didnt take advantage of the pool hot tub and fitness room this time we did last time and enjoyed it immensely. We will indeed stay again, the hotels proximity to places we enjoy, ikea next door for shopping the next morning and breakfast sunday morning, the courtyards price is right, the employees friendly and professional and we will DEFINATELY stay again. Thank you to all staff last Saturday evening and Sunday morning, you made our trip a stress free and relaxing one! :)

Their staff are hard workers and very friendly.

The hotel is located near a Walmart, restaurants, etc. My room was very clean. Plenty of towels and was furnished with soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and coffee everyday. I wasn't afraid to walk bare feet in the room at all. I had the view of the highway and Toronto, could see CN Tower. The room was well insulated that I could hardly hear the cars from the autoroute.

The pool was very well kept and had plenty of towels.

The receptionists are were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Top floors facing the pond. Could see CN Tower.
