“Wonderful staff & very organized!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Myself, my brother and husband stayed here for a weekend in October...we rented a small cabin and my bro had his RV. We were all very pleased with the accomadations and the friendliness of the staff. The catfish on Friday night should NOT be missed!!! We plan on going back.

Koyote Ranch is a great place for bikers. They do everything to make you feel welcome. We have stayed in the cabins, which we found to be neat and clean but too small. The last couple of times we have all stayed in the Ranch House, which is a beautiful place. The food in the dining room is reasonably priced and is a fun place to hang out. Our room needed maintenance this last visit and they were there promptly and were very polite. The grounds are always kept need and clean.
Koyote Rand is a little pricey but with the BOGO it is a pretty good deal.

Room Tip: The beds in the B&B are outstanding

This place has a great setup. The cabins are cozy, clean, and like brand new. The store and dining rooms is a great meetup place and the chow is tasty and a good selection. You can sit inside or outside and outside can have a live band playing and a warm fire pit going for those cool nights. The large meetup has is perfect for groups to gather and its a short stroll to the really nice pool and jacuzzi area.
Perfectly situated for your rides to the Three Sisters and Hill Country.

Great place with excellent views of the Hill Country. Spent the weekend here in an RV - nice size RV sites, within walking distance to the pool and playground. Had a nice indoor area for the kids to hang out a play, equipped with lots of games, tv and videos. Also had nice outdoor playground for the kids. We were also within walking distance to the restrooms and shower, which were clean and well kept. Nice hiking trail through the hills.

Have stayed here over 10 times in last two years - stayed in Kamp, Getaway and Hideaway cabins. All have a/c-heat. The Kamp are very affordable, but only have a bed(s) (some have multiple singles, some w/a double or a queen) but within steps of very clean restoom/shower facilities. The other two cabins are more than double the price but have their own bath/fridge/sink/microwave and a variety of bed selections. The beds are not the best quality, but ok for a day or so. For bikers, it's only 45 minutes from Leakey (3 sisters loop), 15 min from Kerville, 10 min from Medina. This is an extremely biker friendly place w/bikers from all over the world coming here (I've met people from England, Austrialia and Canada). There are numerous riding clubs from all over Texas staying here on a regular basis. They have gas and some grocery items, but unless it's a must, it's less expensive to ride a few miles toward Kerville to buy whatever you need. The food is reasonably priced and well prepared although the restaurant has limited hours. Has a great pool and hot tub and a recreation center that has games, TV and internet. (Free) Internet access is poor except for designated areas and phone reception is weak. The have bands that play on most weekends with a Friday fish fry that people from all over come to along w/regular bond fires on the patio. In the winter the RV park is consistently full with winter Texans and the resort has regular social activities. Other than some poor bedding in a couple of cabins, I have yet to be disappointed with my numerous stays here. Pete, the manager, and the staff have always been very accommodating.

Room Tip: check with the staff for the type of bed you need (single, double, queen, etc) and how many of each...

Spent the weekend here and found it to be one of the most beautiful & peaceful places in the Hill country. Our Hide a way cabin had a great view, was very clean & well cared for, beds were comfortable. Mercantile store on site had daily buffets, food was all good. Live music Fri & Sat night, kids enjoyed pool table, shuffleboard & swimming pool. Saw many deer up in the hilly area of property, humming birds right outside our door. The cabin rentals are a bit pricey, but your paying for the view. If you need ice or snacks make sure to get them before getting here, mercantile store too pricey on these items as well. A nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds it, a real gem in the hill country.

We have stayed three times now. As a motorcyclist, it is a welcome place. Close to all the "good roads", a variety of lodging choices, a pool and a hot tub! Every cabin has gorgeous views of the Hill Country. The down sides... the mercantile store/ check-in office closes at 5 pm during the week and 3 pm on Sunday. The grill, in the store, is only open for lunch Sun - Thur, dinner Friday and Sat and Breakfast Sat and Sun. The Bikers leave at all times of the morning, and some of them are very loud. They used to have a gameroom for cards, boardgames, and billiards, but that has been turned into another bedroom in the lodge house. The B&B (lodgehouse) is not a true B&B either. You get a coupon for breakfast either in Kerrville (during the week) or the buffet at the mercantile. The pool table was moved to the mercantile but if it is closed, you can't play. They have a tent camping area, but the bathrooms are waaaay too far away for my liking. Also if a sudden rain storm comes up, the tent sites can flood.

Room Tip: The Camp Cabin #32 has a king size bed and a strong AC unit near the bathroom. If you stay at the lo...
