“Away from Athens hustle bustle”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2011

Stayed here for almost a week for a business conference. At a walking distance to Vouliagmeni beach. Close to a stretch of restaurants by the beach :) Choose this place if you want to be away from Athens hustle bustle. Dont if you want to feel Athens pulse :) Staff are friendly and place is clean :)

The reports here are so true, this is a great hideaway from all the hustle and bustle of Athens, yet very easy to get in and out of the city if you so desire.

The staff are really what makes this hotel, they are so helpful, friendly and certainly made us feel very welcome. Example, even though the pool area was not open (the pool operattes from 1 May) when I said I'd like to sit in the sun there as it was sheltered, chairs were put out there for me so that I could enjoy the sun.

Lovely hotel, lovely area but most of all lovely people.

Good value for clean, and what seem like recently renovated rooms. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful.

I so enjoyed my stay at the Amarilia Hotel. I was part of a tour for the Athens Marathon. The location couldn't have been better - right near the sea with a spectacular view. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was outstanding. My room was comfortable and very clean. The food served at the hotel was fantastic! I highly recommend the Amarilia.

My husband and I have stayed every year at this hotel since it was built 20 years ago. Suffice it to say that we would not consider staying elsewhere in the Athens area.

I stayed here with the Apostolos Greek Tour group for the Athens Classic Marathon from 10/28/10-11/6/10 and loved it. We were a huge group from all over the world, and the hotel staff was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating to our group's different needs. They really made my first stay in a foreign country very enjoyable.

I loved this hotel for many reasons--the secluded pool, proximity to Athens, the airport and the beach, yet off the beaten path, the outstanding breakfasts, the reasonable rates, the view, the comfortable rooms, but MOST OF ALL, the outstanding, friendly staff, who went a way above the call of duty.
