“Excellent service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2011

We stayed in this hotel during Easter for 3 nights. I must say the photos on the hotels website fool you a bit. It looks certainly more exclusive than it really is. If you stay away from the rooms facing the main road it is kind of quiet. (The junior suites are facing the road.)
But the rooms are clean. A bit worn though and the air condition was not working properly on all rooms (We had 3 rooms). The staff is extraordinary friendly and helpful. The pool area is sheltered from the wind, so at least during Easter we appreciated the outdoor facilities. The breakfast is OK and what I expect it to be. Both hot and cold, yoghurts, cereals, fruit etc.
I have no problem in recommending this hotel.

Worth it!!! Staff are all helpful, friendly and speak and understand the english language very well. Paid Eur875 for a junior suite for 7 nights including buffet breakfast. Very safe neighbourhood to walk in even during the night. Bus stop just infront of the hotel and tram stop about 2 minutes away. Hotel is near a main road but if you close the windows and doors you will be okay. Has a good airconditoner system in both rooms. Free wifi internet on all floors. Good restaurants around (try Zaxos cause it's cheap and very good). Food from the pool bar is expensive.
Beware of taxi drivers ( one driver stopped us at the wrong place and he showed us that he didnt know our destination because he asked me for a map!!)

„Not really the type I thought about“

As such geographically the hotel is at the best place. Just few waking distance to the beach, of shallow sea. Best swimming possibility, though the hotel has its own swimming pool, which is also not bad, but if you have time, then go to the sea.

Located at a very alive business and recreation district of Athens, where one can find everything for life.

The hotel itself is unfortunately not the right one for me too loud too poor. I booked a room with a sea view but I have not seen any thing from the sea. I complained bitterly and I got another room which was not really much different.
Rooms are very poor, small, furniture are too old. Breakfast is also as such just like “ something better than nothing”.
If you are looking for a comfortable Room with good furniture so do not go there.
If you are looking for a closer vicinity to the sea and/or shopping area.-then it is the right place.

The hotel is located in Glyfada, 3 minutes walking to the main square, and restaurants, also few meters to the beach.
There is no door man or someone to help you with luggages, and to get to the elevator you have to carry your luggage on few stairs in the reception hall, because there is no ramp either.
The room size is average, but in need of renovation and upgrade. the tv is very small, you barely can see something. The bathroom was nice, spacious enough with bathtub, and clean. There was noise from traffic, in every part of the hotel, I had a junior suite which had a view to the main road, Poseidonos Avenue, and the other room with view to the hotel entrance.
The staff in front desk, very kind and helpful!

The rooms are old and in need of remodeling. The couch bed was full of cigarette burns, the carpet filthy and the bathroom window covered in pigeon feces. Sheets are not changed daily and beds are made with same sheets used night before. The tv set is very small 12", and if you are unlucky to have a room with a street view without earplugs you won't be able to sleep at night because of the traffic noise which is horendous. The $161 Euros a day is not justified by the poor service and less than adequate room. The price for a coke from a machine is a ridiculous $2.80 euros for a small can. Breakfast was adequate and staff friendly after you got to know them. Restaurant female employess wore same uniform for days without changing.

Syated in Palmyra beach with husband and 12 year old daughter in July 2009. On arriving we were very concerned to see that hotel is on 6 lane road to Athens. We had read this in some reviews but were not too worried at the time. Luckily it is on the beach and tram side of the road as it is a very dangerous road to cross. Take note if you have small children. Our room was on the side of the building so while the constant noise of frantic traffic did not keep us awake at night it certainly put paid to using the balcony. The room was disappointing. We had booked a triple but I suspect we were put in a double as the third bed was a pullout chair bed ( not even sofa size) and space was limited. Staff were polite but distant, with the exception of Chris on reception, who was friendly and helpful. The staff serving breakfast were sullen on occasion. On our final morning the lady serving snapped at two or three guests, not the behaviour one would expect in 4 star hotel, or any hotel for that matter. Breakfast was adequate. Each morning I took eggs and each day they were cold. There were also the usual cold cuts, tinned fruit, cereal, yogurt and bread. Staff cleared the food away very promptly at 10am so don't be late! The room was kept very clean by a pleasant lady. Pool area small and could do with cleaning and refurbishment. The hotel is very close to tram line to Athens and beaches. The local beach is not very pleasant. I would stay here again if travelling to Athens if I could not get hotel closer to city centre.
