“Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2014 via mobile

It is a very nice hotel conveniently located next to the magnificent temple.
Spacious rooms, great view to the sea and the temple, private beach, tasty breakfast.
In a few words perfect combination for someone who wants to escape from their hectic way of life

This hotel is gorgeous. The views are stunning, right next to the temple of Apollo. The private beach is really nice. Hotel rooms are clean, nice design, and a great bathroom. Also the breakfast with view on the beach was fantastic. Highly recommended.

The entire hotel is absolutely beautiful and every single room is built to face the gulf so you won't have to worry about not getting an incredible view. We stayed in the hotel the first night that they opened for business and found the staff to be extremely welcoming and the facilities to already be working really well. The price is worth it for the view alone.

We came over for Easter with our family of 4. Although the weather was not great, the kids had a blast because the kids had many things to do when they couldnt swim. It has a very nice playroom, a foosball table, and plenty of space to bike, run and play ball where they felt free and we felt they were safe. The location is superb. You can almost touch the Temple of Poseidon and swim underneath. Several tavernas nearby offer a great taste of local food (try Syrtaki, or Elias).

We would recommend the hotel highly. Excellent and friendly service, also in low-season. Beautiful view, nice rooms and excellent breakfast. Location is handy to go see the Temple of Poseidon in sunset. Also the restaurant is worth mentioning: food and especially the service was really good.

A fantastic hotel in many ways. No doubt for its location to begin with. Nothing like swimming at the foot of an historical temple. And the famous Sounion sunsets to enjoy every afternoon!!!! The hotel itself has been standing there for many years but it has been refurbished six years ago and has aquired very high standards. Simple, elegant decoration, all its areas are very functional. If you dislike stairs this is the place for you because you can go anywhere using the elevators; the beach, the parking areas. Excellent breakfast, again with an exceptional view on the sea and the Temple. Beach towels provided by the hotel, fresh every day. The personnel is top. There is nothing much to do in the hotel in the evening but if you have a car you can do a lot all along the Sounion area and nearby Lavrion.

Room Tip: No problem, they are all equally good.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend at the beginning of October for my BIG birthday. I phoned to book a few months in advance and told the Receptionist it was a birthday and she obviously made a note as on the day a bottle of chilled white wine and a fruit platter was delivered to our room with compliments of the hotel. Lovely touch!
Our room was on the 3rd floor and the view was exactely the same as in all the photos and spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet good, Dinner also good especially the fish and not much more expensive than eating in the nearby tavernas.
The staff were all very friendly, efficient and spoke very good english. Unfortunately, the weather was windy when we were there so could only sit on the beach one day, it was good to have a car for exploring and also nice to walk up to the Temple.

Room Tip: All rooms face the sea and sunset. High room (3rd floor) or pay more for corner suite.
