I have been here three times. My husband gave me a gift card and I booked a massage with Kathy in July. She has a wonderful technique and followed my request for a "heavy hand" to work out the knots in my upper back. I was impressed by her ability to help me identify stretches that might be beneficial to reduce muscle spasms. She took a bit of extra time assess my special needs about my chronic condition. That means a lot to me.
I also went back to Kathy last week for a 30 min chair massage. She was in between clients and graciously got me in to work out a painful spasm! What an angel.
That day, I asked if there was a hair stylist that could do a very intensive color and a great new, short cut. I was given an appointment with Karen. I returned and had a delightful experience with this talented lady. She cut about 5 inches off and gave me a stylish bob. She also performed a base color with painted highlights/lowlights. Yes, this was a long visit, but the results were worth it!
The only thing that bothered me with the salon experience: I am very used to talking with my stylist during my appointments. Karen and I conversed the entire time...we really had fun, but I do believe the atmosphere is supposed to be relaxing and quiet. We kept getting "the look" from some of the other stylists. Interesting because we weren't being loud, we were just talking. So, I will try the salon again because of the quality of the work, but if I have to be quiet the entire time, I am not sure I will be able to continue long term. Just ask my husband, it would kill me to be silent for 3 hours! :)
