“Great food truck!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We had just arrived into town on our motorcycles so parking was not an issue. We went at lunch time and had to wait about 20 minutes for our food. We were not disappointed. The food quality was great! And, because everyone sits at long picnic style tables, it's a great way to meet others traveling in Marfa too.

“Add the Food Shark to your list of Marfa attractions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

Sort of Tex - Med, with a Middle Eastern twist. Has a bit of a Guy Fieri "triple D" vibe. Everything is prepared to order with fresh ingredients, the service is very friendly.

The Falafel balls are excellent - great crunchy texture on the outside, and just the right spice.

The Italian Roast Pork Sandwich came on a baguette that was close to perfect - great crust with just the right buttery flavor, and soft on the inside. The Pork was lean, tender, and full of flavor. The Salsa Verde and the Tomato Pico were fresh and flavorful.

“Great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

A must do while staying in Marfa. We had seen Food Shark on the Daytripper and it looked intriguing. We were not disappointed. Based on other Trip Advisor suggestions, I tried the Marfalafel...Wow! It was wonderful.

“Must Stop Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

This is a "must stop" if you're going to or passing through Marfa. The menu is amazing, with a Middle Eastern flare, like the Marfalafel, and specials with food choices from around the globe. It's gourmet food truck food at it's best. They park under a giant overhang just on the other side of the train tracks from downtown, so even on a hot day it feels cooler in the shade. The owner is great, just a genuine nice guy, with an inventive culinary mind. A true taste experience that's uniquely Marfa.

“Good Food Cooked to Order”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

This seemed to be about the only game in town for lunch in Marfa. The food was good and price was decent. I don't think I'd drive to Marfa just to eat there, but once you are there, it is quite good. The wind in the eating area was a bit of a challenge, but can't blame that on the food truck.
