“Awesome food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Passed the café and the line was out the door, so we decided to go someplace else. Turned around to head back downtown and the line had gone down with in minutes. So we stopped and waited about 15 minutes. Had the hamburger with fried okra and the small chicken fried steak with the tamale soup and carrots. It was all awesome, and had way to much to eat even with the smaller portion. Then the pie. the coconut cream pie is to die for. Could have not eaten the food and pigged out on the the pie.

“Gotta go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

Mile high meringue pies! Chicken fried steak and okra---a southern food extravaganza and worth EVERY calorie. It doesn't get better than this but bring CASH---they don't take checks or plastic and be prepared to wait in line outside if you arrive at a busy time which is nearly always!

“Yummy to the Tummy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014

Whether you're looking for a delicious homemade pie or a full meal, this is one place you want to visit in Marble Falls, Texas. Located near the lake, there is almost a line of local and tourist visitors to this small old-fashioned diner (established in 1929) famous for their pies - under $14 out the door for a full pie!

“Great spot for Breakfast”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

I hate to rate this average, as a breakfast place the food is incredible. We have been back for lunch and it's just so-so. Be prepared for a long line at breakfast, but they move it pretty well.
