“The Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2009

Rob Meyer and his staff are extremely courteous, helpful and always meets all of needs,no matter what we ask for.Clean over sized rooms, with everything in them that you need for a peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to stay.We go to Doctors allot In Lubbock and it always makes me feel better to come back to our room and be treated the way that we are treated.
Just makes you feel better to be staying at the Arbor Inn.
You need to be thankful that there are managing partners that treat people this Way.
Congratulations to Rob Meyer and his Staff

Our stay was great! The rooms, living area, bathroom area are wonderful, and the balcony just tops it off. The views from the balcony were great. The amenities were awesome. This trip is one that my husband and I will never forget. I wish Arbor Inn and Suites were a chain though....

What a great location & hotel. Helpful staff, very nice breakfast buffet included (minus eggs -- though the bisquits & gravy was delicious sans sausage), great pool & landscaping & waterfall (very relaxing), and if you get a suite, a very nice balcony w/ your 2-room suite, though the regular rooms are very nice.

Ask he manager for places to eat. If you like steak, it's a bit of a drive and the steak comes w/ spices on it, but go for the Cagle Steaks restaurant for a bit of Texas flavor. Though we didn't make it there, I heard Tom & Bingo's is THE place for lunch & BBQ brisket. Ye ole Diner... (very popular). Also good was the Caprock Cafe, who's burger tasted "true Texas" to me.

Places to visit (I kid you not!)... Windmill museum, Buddy Holly's museum (where your ticket will also get you into the), WWII Glider museum... maybe a 2 hour drive north to the Palo Duro Canyon (nice, but not what I'd call spectacular)... and finally, two great wineries: Llano Estacado (south) and Pheasant Ridge (north). Both at opposite ends of the masses vs small batch, but both great tasting wines... (which rival even Calif's Sonoma County Vineyards)... I was amazed!!

We were here for a wedding, and ended up turning this trip into a nice 5 day vacation. Arbor is THE place to stay.

The Arbor Inn was wonderful! The rooms are bigger than usual! You need to book a suite if you want a balcony and view of the pool. We had a regular room with 2 double beds. It had a larger than usual room, plus a sitting room with a couch and another small TV. Our room was on the side of Lowe's, with a small side street accessing the hotel, so it was very quiet. We never got up in time to enjoy the breakfast. We did enjoy the homemade chocolate chip cookies and lemonade/tea in the afternoon. They also had an ice chest full of bottled water all day ! The pool was awesome! The pool area is very beautifully landscaped. My son and his friend enjoyed it so much, they didn't want to leave to do other things in town!

We had 8 rooms booked for our daughter's wedding. We had many special requests of the staff & everyone was very professional & helpful. The owner/manager seemed to always be there & went out of his way to accommodate us. The rooms were all extra roomy & always spotless. Everyone in our family was taken with how nice it was. We were sad to leave, because it was so wonderful.

We have stayed at the Arbor Inn several times and are always impressed with the service and the layout of the whole place. It was designed by the wife/owner and her feminine touches are apparent everywhere......lots of thought went into the design and floorplan to make it very homelike..... The rates are VERY reasonable.....just make sure to book in advance to assure that you will have a room.

My first visit to this hotel....and we were totally pleased, with the staff (all super expecially Samatha), Manager helpful and friendly...the rooms were clean (inside hallways I really like), bathrooms were clean and very well lighted...beds were tops, with great linens and pillows....my only regret was we were there in the winter and the beautiful pool and deck were closed.
We will return for sure....
