This is a museum about windmills and the new wind generators. Hubby almost cancelled because, well, the subject matter doesn't sound too fun. It was interesting and worth the fee. I learned a few things and saw some different and some cool collections of windmills. There is some history of the plains from Michigan to Texas and their is an exhibit about a ranch owned by an African American family I believe in the 20s-30s. The information is well done; however, some items lack information if any. Example there is a bird's nest shown on top of lots of barbed wire. No note. The reason is during the Dust Bowl so little vegetation was around they used the wires. Other than that a nice short trip and you can learn some new things. Oh there are some exhibts outside and we drove around, but it was just a bit too nippy to walk around.
