We stop here often on our treks across Texas. The Ashmore has very nice size rooms, the service has been quite good and it's relatively quiet at night. It's also in a great location - lots of restaurants and shops in the area, so you'll have a good dinner before bed as well. The only bummer with the Ashmore is that they don't allow pets, so we haven't been able to stay there on random trips with our dogs. Other than that, it's always on our list when traveling through Lubbock.
