This is a friendly, small town restaurant with good food. My relatives take us there to eat when we are in town. I like the buffalo burger (lunch or the chopped buffalo steak for dinner. They also have good catfish and chicken fried steak. The atmosphere is very Texas and western oriented and well done. On Fridays & Saturday nights they have a singer and guitar player who sings mostly his own compositions. They always tell stories and make a nice background to dining. Another nice thing is that his singing is not repeat not so loud that you cannot talk. Instead the music is a nice background to conversation. The restaurant is located across the street from the restored county courthouse which is a nice backdrop.
