“Probably the best in Liberty”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

I grew up in Liberty. Came back for a funeral. Stayed here for a nights with my family. I had two rooms. It's a typical motel, not hotel, but they've done some nice improvements to the rooms. Large rooms with a couch, table, mini-fridge and microwave. Rooms were clean, though I had to change rooms due to lingering cigarette smoke in one of them. If they had a continental breakfast, we didn't avail ourselves of it.
The motel is next to the well-used train tracks. Seems most of the trains run at night, so expect to hear loud train whistles in the middle of your sleep.
The morning management staff seemed a little hard to deal with, but the afternoon/evening staff were very helpful. You can find nice chain hotels in Baytown or Kingwood, but if you're needing to stay in Liberty, this is as good as it gets.

Room Tip: If train whistles in the middle of the night bother you, sleep with ear plugs.

In town for high school reunion. Decent for the money. When we pulled up to our room, we noticed chairs, beer bottles and cigarette butts outside many of the rooms. Guessed correctly - oilfield workers. .. no big deal. The room was clean but only had two sets of towels when my husband had specifically asked for four sets when we made our reservations. Mattress is firm ... almost excessively so - both my husband and my back not happy after one night. Unscrambled porn channel that I would have really been upset about if I had been traveling with my children and had them "discover " it... It was shocking enough when I came across it unexpectedly. Day 2 we discovered the reason we had only 2 sets of towels. They apparently don't even have enough towels to restock the rooms without laundering. We waited on towels for at least an hour. The pool - currently being used as a mosquito breeding ground. They should either empty it or maintain it. Location hard to get into and out of. Plan on doing some extra travel and a lot of U-turns.

My wife and I stayed in the Luxury Inn in Liberty, Texas for nearly a month while waiting to close on a home in Dayton that we were buying. This is a very nice place to stay. The owners and staff are real friendly and the rooms are clean. I would recomend it to anyone.

I have stayed at the hotel in the past it is under new owners and it is 10 x better than it was before. The rooms are newly remodeled with new beds, carpet, granite countertops and the best of all New LCD Tv and the price is the best at $50.00 with tax $ 56.50 the room is very big for a small hotel. The staff the lady at the front desk I think her name was (Sherry) is very friendly and helpful. I needed directions she draw me a map and gave me her cell phone number if i got lost and when I lost money in the coke machine she not only give me my money back but gave me a bottle of her own coke. She is an asset and is the reason I will stay at this hotel again. It also has free Wi-Fi in the rooms and I also use the BBQ pit and tables I haven't seen any other hotels in the area with that.

This is a locally owned motel that is very clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained and for the money, it is a great place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are firm, but comfortable. We needed directions to a facility in Liberty and the lady at the front desk gave excellent directions, then gave me her cell number in case we got lost! I would definitely recommend it. Be advised that there is a glitch with the travel sites, like Travelocity and Expedia. They will show the motel is full, when in fact, it isn't. If you get that message, call the motel directly. More than likely, especially this time of year, there will be a vacancy.

This is a mom and pop motel. It is very well kept and the outside is very well manicured. The inside is big and nice but their beds are some of the hardest I have ever slept on. I travel about 200 nights a year with my company and these beds are in my top 5 hardest!! They also advertise internet but it only works in a couple of rooms. It isn't worth the $70.00 a night they charge. I was there for 3 nights and woke up stiff and with a back ache every morning. If you like cement with sheets thrown over it and no internet then this would the place for you.

  • Liked — Very well kept and manicured
  • Disliked — The beds were very very hard and no internet
