I'm posting several pictures which show some flaws of this hotel but overall it's actually not that bad a place in terms of budget hotels. Certainly there are worse hotels out there in Houston. If you look around, the place looks remodeled. New carpet (horrible color scheme though), the paint looks new, toilet and sink look new, etc. I got stuck in a smoking room and the comforter smelled a little (almost like curry), but other than that there was no odor. Sheets were clean, but pillows were saggy. Wifi worked fine and tv (although old) had many channels for cable. Sink is outside the toilet area, which I liked. Breakfast consisted of cereal, waffles, Danish and muffins ... better than othe budget hotels but not as good as some. Front desk girl was very nice. They have ab indoor pool too which i saw being cleaned so i know they do clean it. Parking was safe and they have cameras in the lot. Also have a washer and dryer with detergent for sale at reasonable prices (dryer not so good). Several Fast food and sit down dining choices, all within walking distance.
