This hotel was gross. Smelled funny, my shoe was sticking to something on the bathroom floor, there were hairs in the bathtub. I just felt gross staying here. The guys at the front desk were rude and not helpful at all. The beds were comfortable is about all I can say nice about the place.

Well to start with all the rooms are smoking rooms so the rooms smell very bad. Beds are a step up from laying on the floor. Bathroom was so dirty I had to clean it before use. Pool if that's what you want to call it was inside and about the size of two bathtubs! Breakfast is a woffel maker and some cheep stuff thrown on a counter. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls NO INSALATION!!!! Will spend more money next time so that I might get some sleep!!!!!

There is not even one thing great about this hotel which i want to write. The pool area had a spider webs and had bad odor to it like pet urine--stayed because could not find a room anywhere else that night -but will never stay there again====they need to take this off web site for places to stay !!Also while walking by at the desk around 11pm i heard the employees talking with each other that,"What do you expect if he(owner - i guess) pays me $ 5 an hour."They all seem like a college students working under the table. So i don't blame them and seems like this is the reason of lacking a quality service since most of the employees don't even make minimum wage. What else can you expect from this motel then.

I stayed here a few night for the Lone Star Biker Rally. The staff was friendly and helpful. This property was fairly close to Galveston, where the rally is held, and cost a fraction of what rooms go for on the island. The room was clean and quiet, considering it is almost on the I45. The free breakfast was spartan, but it was free. There are all kinds of places to eat nearby.

Room Tip: Make sure to take a side trip to Kemah.

Beds - clean and soft
TV/Cable/WIFI - good
Breakfast - sparse
Pool - warm
Decor - was there a sale on Teal paint?
Staff - Friendly and accomodating
It was the perfect "home base" location for our plan B spring break. Went to NASA, Kemah and Galveston.

I read some reviews on line before booking. The reviews were mostly favorable so I decided it would be worth it for the price. I think the reviews must have been written by the people who own it because I did not think it was clean at all. The walls in the hallway had splatter of some kind on them. The room walls were the same. The pillows were very flat and very uncomfortable. The fixtures that held the toilet paper and kleenex box fell out of the walls. The free breakfast was a joke. The tables were dirty. The counter where people had been there before were very dirty. The cereal dispenser had cereal that had fallen out laying in the tray. I noticed the same cereal there the night before when we checked in. The trash can was full and overflowing but the guy working at the desk could not have been bothered. When we returned from our outing at Kehma I noticed the smell of pot from another guest smoking in the building. At 5am I had to call the front desk because there was a party going on that continued to get louder by the minute. I did call the front desk and the party soon after fell apart. This was the only good thing about this place. I normally don't write reviews but the ones shown were false and i don't want someone else to be dooped like I was. I almost forgot. After we checked in I noticed the guy who had checked us in the halls 3 to 4 times in about a 15 minute period. I felt like I was being watched by him. It was very uncomfortable and odd.

Good hotel with a good price. Was near Kemah boardwalk and Galveston Island and plenty of restaurants in the area.
