I had the #6, two meats (beef & pork), two sides (mac cheese & pintos), & corn bread (muffin). Cost just under $11 total. Take out order - brief wait on a Saturday around 4:30pm.
The beef brisket was dry and VERY smoky- could not taste the meat or any sauce. Had to stop at a store to get a small bottle of BBQ sauce to mask the smoke flavor a little and moisten the meat.
The pork was a little less dry, but still- the smoke just overwhelmed the meat.
The sides were OK- nothing to write about, but not bad. The corn muffin was dry and tasted like it was made yesterday.
Maybe the fact that this place is a SMOKEHOUSE BBQ? Maybe I am looking for something else? Believe me, you CAN taste the smoke. In fact, that's all you can taste!
