My wife and I went to TJ's Circle Cafe in Kilgore for breakfast on Saturday. As my wife said "You can tell you are in East Texas when the people coming out the door are smiling and say howdie". The placed was full and the waitresses were scurrying around. You can sit where you want and it won't be long until you get to order. The cafe has a real cowboy feel with two pictures of John Wayne on the walls. The eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuits, burritos and pancakes are really good. There is everyone from families to retired people there, sitting down to have something to eat and a little conversation. You get plenty to eat, for the price and the waitress keeps your coffee full. On the week days you can get eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and a biscuit for $3.99. It cost a little more on the weekends. They open at 5:30 a.m.
