I am a local and a every few months we go to Chili's, hoping things have improved. It never seems to. This last visit we arrived on a Wed night about 7:00. There was a little rush of people arriving, which obviously frazzled the apparent new hostess. There were so many of us waiting. Another patron suggested she take names. One couple came in and she asked if they would like to sit outside, they were immediately sat. But, she never asked the three couples already waiting. We talked about how frazzled she was on the numerous times she said, "let me go clean a table, I'll be back." Another employee stood at the register for about 5 minutes, waiting for someone to pick up a to go order. Why he could not have helped her is beyond me. Our waitress was great. My husbands corn on the cob had ice crystals on it and he sent it back. Otherwise food was good. More dirty tables than clean as evidenced by the ketchup bottle slid to the end of the table. The manager appeared to be in the kitchen, coming out every so often to help take food to tables on large orders. There was the problem. No mgr around to notice what was happening at the front of the house or with the tables. May try again in a few months....maybe not.
