Jefferson Hotel is our our little escape from the world! My family (husband, daughters age 24 and 23 ,son 8yrs old) love to visit often. Feb 2008 was our last visit there we go for Mardi Gras and anytime there is a good excuse (we ususally go 6-8 times a year).
The hotel and the town makes you feel as if you have stepped back in time. The hotel is always interesting you never know what might happen.... you may find interesting pictures on your camera, water turning on, things moved in you room and so on and so on (nothing to scarey). But it is always a joy to return and see what the hotel has in store for us.
Our family enjoys the restaurant and the wonderful italian food that is served in LAMACHE'S (it is in the lobby of the hotel).
Over the years we have begin to feel like family with the owners and the staff... we love the experience of the Jefferson Hotel!!!!!!

- Official Description (provided by the hotel):

Once used as a warehouse to store cotton, this lovely building changed hands numerous times. At the turn of the twentieth century it was transformed into a hotel and has served as a haven for weary travelers since that time. ... more less
