I was going to be in nearby Longview, Tx, so I googled to find an interesting town nearby to visit and found Jefferson. I had been wanting to try out a B&B, and after searching this site, I decided on the Azalea Inn. I and my best friend had a great 2-night stay. We stayed in the West Room, which is at the front of the house; it was very comfortable and clean. The house is one of the prettiest in Jefferson in my opinion. It has beautiful outdoor areas and enough parking space for guests. We went in December, so the temperatures were too cool for us to sit on the porch or patio, but they were still very welcoming. Sam and Valerie are very geniune and gracious hosts. We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was divine and we both got the cookbook.
