“Home away from Home”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

This was the perfect night stay for my husband and I on my birthday weekend. We only got to stay one night and it so happened that Bob and Pam were away when we stayed so we did not get the breakfast part of the stay but found that breakfast was wonderful and inexpensive in town at The Bakery. Our room was so nice; a big comfy king size bed, (with no kids down the hall coming to ask us for water, or say they couldnt sleep :) ) and a small cozy fireplace, that although we didnt need the heat we ran the light part of it and it was great for ambiance. It had a small but nice bathroom with only a shower and 2 bath robes! There was even a small tv and dvd player in the room, which if you stay at many B&B's you know is unusual, but i was thankful because i tend to watch tv during the night when i can not sleep. The house itself was so homey and welcoming, we loved it. We especially loved the gazebo outside! I love love love to be outside, it was a great place to sit and drink coffee and visit with my husband!

Room Tip: be sure to check carefully if you want a room with a bath tub because they do not all have one. the...

My partner and I stayed here recently and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we didn't get to experience Pam's famous breakfasts, but Jefferson is such a delightful little country town with a couple of great spots for breakfast that we didn't worry and everything was in easy walking distance. The first night we had the Inn to ourselves so it was wonderfully quiet and felt like a gift to be in the country air in a great old house. The Room Five was fabulous and the bed really comfy. I loved the garden and sipping my morning coffee out there watching the sunrise!

Room Tip: Room Five is on the ground floor so easy access. Lovely morning light!

Absolutely wonderful B and B. Everything was perfect, down to last detail. Bob and Pam were so nice and hospitable. And Pam's breakfast was amazing! The home's decor was beautiful, and it felt so homey and comfortable. We loved sitting in the gazebo and admiring the lovely gardens. I very much look forward to gong back.

Room Tip: Room no. one is the only one with a full tub and shower. and a great balcony.

We stayed here this past Spring for two nights and we really didn't want to go home. We're currently planning our second stay for this Fall and very much looking forward to it. The room was perfect, the balcony was fantastic, the food was delicious and the hosts were gracious and friendly. This was our first B&B experience and we loved it!

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. The room was spacious and provided a cool place to relax after a hot day of shopping and riding a tour boat. The breakfast was great and the host and hostess were very helpful in making reservations for a local resturant. Enjoyed the morning conversation with other guest. Sitting on the porch enjoying tea and coffee while watching it rain was peaceful and relaxing.

Room Tip: Room 3 included a balcony, but all the rooms were nice.

We stayed in the one double room, since the king rooms were already booked. My preference is for a king room. However, the room was very comfortable. My one suggestion would be for the TV to be upgraded, as it is quite small and an older model. Breakfasts were awesome! Bob gave us several great recommendations for restaurants that we really enjoyed!
