With several good reviews from my fellow TripAdvisors and just Aunteeg as the dissenting voice, I was expecting a decent lunch at the Hut. Turns out, I'm with Aunteeg on this one!
Young chap taking the order up front was full of enthusiasm for their chicken tikka masala, so we paired that up with their beef samosas (well, how can you go to the samosa hut and not have some?).
The samosas were good. Hot, crispy and good spice to them. They can rest on their laurels for the golden triangles.
The tikka masala was soupy, salty and the chicken paltry (excuse the pun). Stringy cuts of dark meat, all seemingly cut from the edge of the thighs. The naan was doughy, but the rice was a healthy serving.
I chose this restaurant over several others in Irving and Las Colinas, but won't do it again. Save yourself the doubt, and go elsewhere.
