“Very nice and so convienent.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

Stay here April 2013 with a stay, park and fly rate. I loved the way the room was set up, there was not just a partition between the bedroom and the living room but a full wood door, which is great when you want some rest and your travel buddy wants to watch t.v. There was a balcony with chairs so you could enjoy the nice weather. Breakfast was typical, not real appealing. The cost of the room plus leaving my vehicle for 8 days was a bargain. The shuttle left the hotel promptly and picked us up at the airport within 15 minutes of my call. Next time I fly from DFW I will definitely return to the Comfort Suites DFW Airport.

This was a good middle of the road hotel, nothing fancy but clean. I loved that the suite area had a door between it and the sleeping area. The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and 4 cup coffeemaker. It had a nice breakfast buffet with Texas shaped waffles, sausage, scrambled eggs, gravy, different breads, cereals, oatmeal, fruits, milk, coffee and juices. Being as close to the airport as it was you would have thought you would hear the airplanes, but you did not hear them at all.

I stayed at this hotel for one night to be close to the DFW airport.
On arrival the staff was friendly, but my room smelt very badly like smoke.
This was promptly corrected and I was moved to a different room which was much better.
The rooms are decently sized and have a lounge area, microwave, coffee machine and working desk.
Wifi and breakfast was complimentary.
This hotel is worth the stay is you need to be at the airport early. They provide a shuttle service to the airport as well.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of our weeklong DFW vacation. We booked on Hotwire (searched for a suite in the Grapevine area). When we got there, we found out it had booked us for 1 king bed & the sofa bed (we had 3 adults and a child). We were able to upgrade to 2 queen beds with sofa bed for an additional $15/night. We unloaded all of stuff in our room only to find out that the WiFi didn't work in the bedroom half of the room. That coupled with very noisy neighbors (several children, loud tv and people coming/leaving room and knocking on door to get back in), prompted us to ask if we could move rooms. We really debated about this as we had already half unpacked and it's a pain to move, but decided to ask anyway. Front desk staff was very helpful. They let us go into the new room to see how the noise was and make sure the Wi-Fi worked before deciding to move. We did move and were very glad we did.
Beds were very comfortable - the best of the 3 hotels we stayed on during this trip. Room was good sized. There are balconies on the upper floors and windows that open on the ground floor. The weather was nice out and it was great to be able to open the window and enjoy the fresh air. They heat/AC is centralized with ducts so no noisy unit under the window and much better heating/cooling overall. There is some airplane noise as it is close to the airport, but a lot less than I would've expected. Continental breakfast was good. There is sitting area with sofa bed (linens, blanket and pillow for it are in the closet), chair, table, desk. There is a frig/microwave. There are plenty of outlets for charging electronics. Bathroom is decent sized, sink/vanity is outside of bathroom. There are 2 TVs, one in the sitting area, one in the bedroom area
There isn't much other than other hotels in this area, but there are a lot of restaurants & shops within 10min drive.

A couple small things I would improve on: there is no freezer in the frig - having a small freezer is really nice since we had ice packs for our cooler and the other hotels had them so we were able to keep our stuff cold when out and about. Better lighting over the vanity (there is a single compact fluorescent bulb that takes forever to brighten up). WiFi could use some work -- didn't work in our first room (had stronger signal from the hotel next door) and had to keep logging on.

Overall, would stay here again if needed to be close to airport/needed airport shuttle, otherwise would probably find a comfort suites in an area with more restaurants, shops.

Stayed here for one night between flights in and out of DFW. The interior of The hotel is really smart compared to the outside and the room was great with separate living and sleeping areas and a balcony. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotless.
The hotel shuttle can be dialled from the arrivals area using the touch screens and phones and arrived pretty quick with a helpful driver.as someone else mentioned the shuttle only runs hourly in the mornings to the airport.
Breakfast was good, help yourself to cereal, fruit, toast, waffles etc.
HOWEVER, we didn't realise on booking there was no restaurant for evening meals in this hotel. We were directed to the sheraton who have a restaurant, where we had a great meal, and two bars. Its probably an awkward ten min walk (due to lack of foot path in places )but luckily the shuttle driver offered to take us across.
Would certainly stay here again as the price was good and it was super clean and comfortable.

Everything I would expect from a Comfort Suites brand Choice Hotel. The room was large and had a seperate living room with deck, sofa and second TV. Breakfast was avarage. My only gripe was the airport shuttle only ran once per hour. The shuttle seated maybe 12-15 but the driver crammed in at least 20, with many standing in the ailse. It's a few miles to the airport and this was definately not the safest ride. It would have been more comfortable and certainly safer to have made two runs or had two shuttles operating.
