“Paradise in Dallas - Awesome resort and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

I LOVED this resort!!! My girlfriend had a baby shower in suite 606. It was incredible - we were escorted in golf carts to the suite. The suite had walls of windows to a killer view of the golf course (and walk-out patios). The suite had a master bedroom, huge dinining room, living room and 2 bathrooms. This was seriously luxurious and did not cost as much as you would think. We all felt pampered. The staff served a DELICIOUS brunch and mimosas! I felt like I was at Beyonce's baby shower (ha,ha). Felipe the bellman was a total sweetheart and helped me back and forth on the golf cart with the shower decorations! It was awesome!!!

Beside the excellence facility and environment, this is the best service four season hotel I ever been. They take soooo detail care for your stay.
They respect all your need. think about their guest. We had a warm welcome from FS staff after a long journey to Dallas from Australia. the bedroom and bath room had been well designed for my daughter's birthday. Restaurant, pool, gym, everywhere knows my daughter's name, she really feels like a princess. It is so sad we have no time to manage come back to stay another night when we were on the way back to AUS.

It will make a big success when hotel can take care their guest like Four Season in Dallas.

You know the brands – both top shelf – so its time to put them head to head in the Dallas Metroplex and see who wins. A few months back I stayed in the Jay Morrish Suite in the Four Seasons, and this month in a Junior Suite at the Ritz Carlton. The RC is a downtown hotel and the FS is a resort with golf, closer to DFW; so, there are real differences in concept. In most categories, there was either a clear winner, or no discernable difference, which I called a tie. The RC has the advantage of being newer, not worn down as much by throngs of conventioneers. But, the FS has better developed guest services. Here goes (for the business traveler):

Location – Depends where your business obligations reside
Doorman - FS
Bell Service - Tie
Parking - FS
Check In - Tie
Calling you by Name - Tie
Concierge - Tie
Lobby Impression - RC
Hotel Décor - RC
Intimate Feel- RC
Comfort of Room - RC
Appearance of Room - RC
Décor of Room - RC
Quality of Bed - FS
Quietness - FS

Friendliness of Staff - Tie
Pool - FS
Exercise / Workout - Tie
In House Restaurant - RC
Local Restaurants - RC

Absence of Problems - FS
Problem Resolution – FS

Giving 1 point for winning the category and ½ point for a tie, the final score is:
FS = 17
RC = 15

Dear Mardenco,
What a delightful and entertaining review of our property! I don't think we've ever had someone rank us against the Ritz-Carlton downtown the way you have. We appreciate your enthusiasm and are so glad that we provided a memorable experience for you. Please let us know when you return to Dallas...we'll look forward to welcoming you back!

Sincerely,

After having a disastrous flight with AA, we were comp'd a dingy hotel that had a notice at the registration desk that "All suspected illegal activity would be reported". My husband took control of the situation and called this property. Benson greeted us warmly and budged on the room rate after hearing how our day had gone. He knew that our bags were arriving at our destination though we were still in route, and that our 1 year old daughter had been a trooper despite 11 hours in airports with only 4 hours of fly time and that we were running out of baby food and diapers. When we arrived at the Four Seasons Dallas, we were greeted by name with a smile and hand shake. The property is beautiful!
Registration set us up with complimentary shaving kits, combs, deodorant and toothbrushes and then assured us if we needed anything they would be a phone call away. The room was clean, spacious and had a beautiful view of the city. The linens were plush and the mattress was very comfortable.

To my utter amazement, they had a crib ready for our daughter and a complimentary stash of all things baby (diaper cream, shampoo, lotion, toys, blankets, extra washcloths , etc.) in our room upon entry. What a blessing!

We got cleaned up ordered dinner and then called for laundry service. The meal was delicious. The laundering was timely and very nicely presented even though I just asked for folding.

Everything was spot on! Thank you everyone for aiding us, weary travelers, with a luxurious stay!

First rate hotel with excellent amenities, food and service. Meeting facilities are excellent and the hotel provides excellent support. There is always someone available to meet all of your needs. I particularly enjoy having a 25 yard pool to swim in and this is a valuable addition to an excellent fitness facility.

Room Tip: Ask for room facing golf course.

This was my first stay in this Four Seasons and it was relaxing, lovely property and a calm retreat in a hectic busy city. Although this was a business trip and meetings, it seemed like a vacation. I had 2 nice business dinners and a business breakfast in the restaurant. My only complaint was that I could hear the door closing loudly next door - some soundproofing for the doors would be a great asset. The rooms are nice and well kept.

Room Tip: a corner room should be quieter so you don't hear doors closing.

We have gone here two times now. Stayed in the main hotel and also in the Villa's by the 18th hole. A very nice location. I love the soap they use for this hotel.
Head Pro, Abe Hernandez is warm, welcoming and a super guy. There are two golf courses to use when you are visiting the hotel. Both fun and challenging.
There is a pool and hot tub to use.
There is a spa, but I did not have time to use it. It looked amazing.
There are a few restaurants one called On The Green which was great. Food fresh and memorable. The menu offering sample tastes or buffet. Wine menu good and a Server named George very professional. We had a great break away. Then some fun time in Ft Worth and many art galleries and museums. Fun Fun Fun. (clean and the beds were fantastic. I would buy one)

Room Tip: A room over looking the pool or the villas over looking the 18th hole is lovely. With built in ente...
