“Excellent holiday stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012

My parents and I stayed at this resort for four nights over Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful stay. The villas are very nice and provide a newer option to the tower. The cub is a great gym and is a great place to work out while out of town - including group fitness classes like Spinning. The spa facilities are also very nice.

The resort is very convenient to DFW airport and is a great spot for meeting people flying in. The drive to downtown Dallas isn't bad either.

Prior to booking this hotel I checked out the reviews and should have noted the review stating there are roaches in the spa wet area. It's true, there are. I was getting out of the hot tub and there were 2 roaches crawling across the floor. NASTY !!! and the claim to be a 5 star?

So if you are into roaches or a hotel that provides a dirty facility than this is your place. Roaches tell me the hotel is nasty and has germs.

You would do better staying at one of many other fine hotels in Dallas.

We cut our stay short and changed hotels.

Very short stay, so didn't get to experience much. The guest room was wonderful and the mattress was absolutely heavenly! Our company party was held in an amazing ballroom. The grounds and lobby seemed amazingly gorgeous and opulent!

Room Tip: Corner suites offer a spectacular view with lots of glass and balcony.

Unbelievable! The spa and massage was incredible. I cannot wait to take my wife back. It was by far the best most luxurious place that we have ever stayed. Cannot wait to go back there!

We have visited the Four Seasons Las Colinas frequently since we live in the Dallas area and it is a perfect weekend getaway. Rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable with all the needed amenities but are beginning to show their age (particularly bathroom, drapery, and some furnishings). We have only stayed in standard guest room so I cannot comment on the suites.

Pool area is wonderful and vibrant especially on the weekends. Some locals that play golf or live in the area have memberships and use pool and bar on the weekends that makes for good people watching (divorcee crowd looking to be seen..) Nice pool bar at one end with great margaritas and fun bartenders. Waitstaff around pool are adequate although fairly slow returning with drinks. The food at pool bar was average and overpriced as expected.
As far as meals, we have never eaten any meals in the main restaurant. Room service for breakfast was standard menu and came failry promptly. One side note, there is a upscale Mexican restaurant in strip mall across the street from hotel which is phenomenal. Great authentic Mexican dishes and steaks seafood etc and killer margaritas. If you dont feel like driving out for dinner (hotel is not that close to trendy Dallas restaurants) walk across the street to this restaurant (sorry, cant remember name) and you wont be sorry.

In summary, this a great hotel and lives up to Four Seasons name. Rooms are nice but could be updated. Pool and outside area is the highlight of this hotel and service is also quiet good. Definitely a good option if you find yourself in Dallas area and want stay somewhere very nice.

While the Four Seasons is the #1 ranked premium hotel chain worldwide this resort is their best in class.

Before the hotel was built, first came the golf course and magnificent sports club featuring a blend of Lifetime Fitness and Canyon Ranch. You have to experience it to believe it. Olympic indoor and outdoor pool, full weight room, tennis and racquetball courts, basketball too. Yoga studio and full spa like you belong to a country club. You don't want to leave but hey, you are heading to your room at the hotel.

The hotel features typical Four Season rooms and suites, but here they offer golf villas right on the golf course. Large, spacious, private, amazing.

The restaurant is first class and it's servers remember you by name. Food is excellent, not pricey with views of the pool and golf course.

There are two bars, one with both indoor/outdoor seating. Large martinis made right and reasonable wine list.

Overall service is exceptional. Poolside is awesome and you have three pools to choose from. Once you stay here, you won't stay anywhere else. In fact, you may not go home.

Room Tip: Ask to be upgraded to a golf course villa or a room with the view of the golf course.

Very pleasant stay at the Four Seasons Las Colinas. The rooms were perfect. The bathroom was amazing. It was a very enjoyable experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, both in-room dining and at the resorts numerous dining facilities. Would highly recommend this property to my friends in the future.
