Based on the Tripadvisor reviews we selected this property for our overnight in Dallas en route home from Belize. We used the property phone at the airport, got the rate offered on one of the "price saver" websites. Their driver arrived within 10 minutes, checkin was super efficient, and the room was well appointed and very comfortable. Shuttle driver also took us to a nearby restaurant at no charge so we could get something to eat. Most amazing hospitality for big chain property.

“Not bad”

Very close to the airport & close to the highway. It is in a strip of Airport hotels. The room was fine, clean, and a decent size. Bed was very large, King size. They have a small do it yourself breakfast with cereal, muffins, coffee, yogurt, fruit, breakfast burrito. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, only slept there. It is a good place to stay if you are doing business in the area. However if you are vacationing, the area is very boring, there is nothing there. I would stay here again as I only visit Dallas on business.

“Great spot for Park and Fly”

Whenever we fly out of DFW, we stay at one of the hotels on the north side, using their park-and-fly rates, leaving the car at the hotel. We have tried several, but the Fairfield has been the best experience. The rooms are small for a Fairfield, but they are completely adequate for a one-night stay. Helpful staff, clean surroundings, and a good breakfast set the Fairfield apart from the surrounding choices. The shuttle, which is also clean and well kept, runs on demand for easy service to the airport. If you live far from the airport, as we do, park-and-fly is the way to go, and the Fairfield is now our park-and-fly choice.

This property was chosen for me to stay at. While it was okay, it just didn't feel right. First, it was a noisy place. From the creaks of the floor above to the coughs and snores in the adjoining rooms, you could hear it all. (It was especially bad the night the power in the entire area went out and the a/c couldn't even attempt to mask the noise.) There were only two clothes drawers and one of those was taken up by the extra blanket. I tried to use the alarm in the room but the radio didn't function reliably. It had a nice hot shower with plenty of pressure and no problems in the bathroom. The iron and ironing board were better than some I have used.

Every morning I tried to find something that looked appealing from the breakfast buffet, but came away with only coffee each day. The eating area was cramped and crowed with people waiting on the shuttle.

The check-in/check-out process was uneventful and unfriendly.

There was absolutely nothing in the area (unless you want to watch the Fedex planes be loaded.) I can only imagine this hotel would be appealing if you are making a one-night layover at DFW and need a nearby place to stay
