I would have given this hotel 5 stars had it been just a tad closer to downtown Dallas but my hotel stay was otherwise perfect! I got a real meal-deal on this place through the Omni website. Got the "stocking stuffer" deal where you get a gift card to a business--mine happened to be Starbucks. Score! Check in was a breeze--can do it online before you arrive so you just show up, grab your key and go up to your room. I had signed up for the Omni perks program so that included daily coffee delivery in the morning and the WSJ. The hotel also has complimentary Starbucks in the lobby the the morning which gets cleared away by 7am. Afternoons had either complimentary lemonade or hot apple cider in the lobby. They offer complimentary ironing/pressing through the hotel but also have iron/ironing board/starch in the rooms. Complimentary onsite parking--always nice not to have to cough up $30-40 for daily parking! All the employees were super-nice and accomodating. We got a late checkout of 2pm without any fuss. They also have a complimentary Navigator car service if you are traveling within 5 miles of the property which I had to use one time and was a great service to have. I had 1 breakfast and 1 lunch at the hotel--both buffets and they were fine. My 4 year-old ate free which was really nice! I didn't get to check out the spa, gym, or pool/hot-tub. I have to go back to the area in April and will definitely stay at the Omni Mandalay again---really wonderful service, super clean, and has all the amenities you could want.
