“Comfortable stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

Stayed here for business for a short week. The room is big and comfortable. The internet was abit on and off, - which gave me some headache some of the nights I was there.
The hotel itself is getting old, and you could see it is worn and some areas are dirty.
The lift did not work on two occassions, and had to look for the stairs to go down.
The gym is ok, but small, so is easily crowded in the morning.
The breakfast is excellent
Room service food great and quick delivered.
Noisy air con, and if you have room close to the vending machine/ice machine, you can experience some noise from those as well.

Been many years since staying at this hotel, but recall my last stay was pleasant. Very convenient location on Westheimer with numerous nearby dining choices from fast food to upscale. Situated between Hwy 59 and I-10 and 2 minutes from Beltway 8 which quickly connects to either freeway and close to West Oaks Mall and the Galleria area. Lots of self parking available. Checked in on Super Bowl Sunday and front desk was friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. After checking out, I noticed an unfamiliar charge to my credit card which turned out to be a charge for a bottle of water I didn't drink. I calledf to inquire and the charge was quickly reversed. The next day, the new GM called to personally apologize and ask if there was anything else he could. I was very pleasantly surprised by his call and the fact he cared enough to make sure I was a satisfied guest. Great job!

Stayed here many times before. Always a great Texan welcome at reception. Nothing too much bother. High quality room facilities, including great high-speed wifi, coffee making machine, bathroom goodies. Very comfortable bed, great night's sleep. Rio Ranch breakfast is fantastic, a must try! Good business facilities on top floor. Lots of good eating establishments across the road and many more easily accessible by short taxi ride.

We booked the corner room King Suite, which was on the top floor. Comfortable bed, good products, nice TV, a mini fridge and sofa all made it a pleasant room. The front desk help was nice and accomodating.
The hotel itself needs some updating, and the Lobby has a large area with a bar that was never open the entire time we were there. There is an attached restaurant and bar which is down the hall a bit, but having so much unused space seems wasteful and looks outdated.

Everything about this hotel is first-rate, starting with the helpful and friendly desk staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the restaurant is pleasant and high-quality (at least for breakfast), the facilities are nice, and the hotel is conveniently located. I've stayed here several times and always try to book it when in this part of Houston.

Elegant entrance, friendly and professional front desk staff, heck of a nice bar, very nice concierge breakfast, dinner snack and dessert room, very comfortable room and bed (though a bit noisy due to callous neighbors). I always enjoy my stays here. :)

Room Tip: The suites next to the elevators are very nice.

Stayed here last night as a "stay-cation" getaway. Nice rooms. Very small bathrooms! Nice Beds. Great quality bedding! The TV reception was horrible. They must have a satelite because they tv channels constantly go in and out all the time.

We recieved two free breakfast coupons for the Rio Ranch SteakHouse next door- absolutely delicous! One of the best breakfast buffets in Houston!

Recieved a great deal thru Expedia for $79 a night!

Room Tip: Check for rate deals on Expedia.
