Our family of four enoyed our stay at the Hilton. This was our first stay at this hotel at a rate of $52.00 per room(2 rooms) per night from priceline We were in Houston on vacation and stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Our rooms were clean and large with a king size bed, night stands, TV cabinet with 3 drawers for clothes, large writing desk, 2 chairs and small table, and a sofa. The windows are actually a wall of glass-floor to ceiling. There is a large lounge/bar area off of the lobby. The outdoor pool is between the lounge and the restaurant. It is well landscaped and has a spa/hot tub. There are plenty of chairs/tables and shade. We only ate once at the restaurant(Rio Ranch) for the breakfast buffet on Sunday. It was excellent with a huge assortment of foods including an egg station, hot waffles and pancakes, bagels, biscuits, fresh fruit and berries, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cold cereals etc. At $15.00 per person it was expensive but worth it. The staff at the hotel was professional and polite. Next to the hotel are several restaurants in one complex that are easy to walk-Outback, Subway, Chilis and at least 6 0r 7 more. There is a Kroger store directly behind the hotel, you can't see it from the front or side of the hotel. It is much cheaper than the getting snacks or drinks from the hotel minibars. The galleria is about 4 or 5 miles down the road on Westheimer. There is a stoplight at the hotel and Westheimer, easy to get in and out. The hotel was a great bargain and we would stay there again.
