I was reluctant to stay at either Westin Galleria Hotel due to the reviews regarding smelly, moldy rooms and my allergies and asthma. I decided to overlook the reviews and stay for the convenience factor...grandchildren, iceskating, shopping, good food...location. We spent one night at the Westin Oaks and 3 nights at the Westin Galleria. Both rooms were immaculate, equipped with truly heavenly beds, great showers, big, fluffy towels and the nicest swimmimg pools that I have seen a long time. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I cannot say enoough about the gracious staff who cured every problem...Dallas and Prashay made the move from one hotel to the other seamless by checking us in at the Galleria when we checked out at the Oaks. I had a key to our new room and went shopping with my granddaughter while my husband movd the car and bags. We had lovely, large corner rooms which were close to a water main break and noise from the city of Houston repairs. Peggy gave us free internet to make up for the noise which the hotel had no control over. I plan to stay here again. My granddaughter loved it too.
