We booked 2 double rooms at this hotel for a 2 day stay following our arrival from the UK. KLM lost our luggage at Amsterdam so we were not happy when we arrived and we were tired. The hotel staff were very sympathetic and booked us into our rooms quickly and efficiently. We were lucky to be given free breakfast vouchers as we had booked with Priority Club. The rooms were good, clean and quiet. I'm not sure we had picked the right area for us as the hotel was a bit of a trek away from the airport in a business area so there was little to do or see and there was a lack of restaurants in walking distance unless you use the hotel restaurant (which we did and it was good). Everyone was extremely friendly from the reception to the serving staff. The breakfast was excellent (try the Granola - it's a delicious work of art). The pool was ok but was a bit grubby and tired as was some of the outside area. The only other downside is that we didn't get room service on the second day of our stay and we had to ask for the bins to be emptied. Sometimes it seems that US hotels start off great and then little things let them down. All in all a good stay but this is more of a business area so would probably be more suited to business people or just one night stop-overs.

Crowne Plaza Greenspoint was the host for the TXUSAG Banquet. We decided to have a little fun after the banquet so we stayed one night at the hotel. Traveling with two parents and two girls 7 and 11. The banquet food (chicken, pasta, frozen mixed veggies)was not good - the facility was nice, the sound was good, service good.
The hotel was nice, we got a room overlooking the atrium - very nice room and bedding, tons of pillows and plenty of space for four people and stuffed animals and little girl support equipment ; ). I would agree with the reviews that the AC was loud, but the room was plenty cool, nice showerhead, good water pressure. Sparse amenities - I never can figure out why they don't prepare for families. When I make a reservation for four there could be four towels and amenities for four - it never fails that I have to call down to get enough soap, shampoo, conditioner and towels for four people. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to do. They know who has reservations for the next night.
The Pool - OMG it was FABULOUS! We stayed at the pool for hours. I wish I had taken pictures. Waterfalls were great - the kids (mine and many others) played and played. There was a bar inside the lobby that you can access from the pool if you get thirsty while you are out there. There was no breakfast , but the coffee in the room was very good.
I would stay here again, I would recommend it friends.

Stayed here for a week on business. Unfortunatly did not have a car and there is not much within walking distance. However the hotel was great. good resturant, great bar and staff, and very accomodating for our seminar. They were remodeling at the time, so there was a lot of dust and noise, but the rooms were great. I would recommend this location with zeal.

I had a fairly decent stay at the Crowne Plaza Houston North-Greenspoint hotel. The hotel staff were all wonderful and very accommodating. I was swiftly picked up at the airport and didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes.

I was amazed how long it took to get to the hotel from the airport. Considering that it is an "airport hotel" it took around 20 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport (we didn't stop at any other concourses either).

The lobby is very nice and attractive. I had a wonderful, very tasty dinner at the restaurant in the lobby. I was actually surprised at the quality of the food.

The Internet was very slow in the business center. Internet in the room was $9.95 per day.

The rooms were rather small, but well equipped. A new, flat screen TV, IPOD docking station, etc. were nice touches to the room. The bathrooms were very clean and well apointmented. However, the air conditioner did not work properly in the room. The room would not get below 75 degrees. The rooms are also very noisy. The road/plane noise is not blocked out all. Ear plugs are provided by the hotel amenity kit as well as a relaxation CD.

Overall, it is a nice hotel. However, it's not close to the airport. Allow plenty of time if you plan on staying here for an early flight.
