Nice place, we booked the rooms for 79 dollars a night via www.starwoodhotels.com. The place was very clean, and the beds and pillows were comfy. I would recommend this place to anyone, but if you're a light sleeper, request a room on the backside of the hotel away from the freeway and closer to the bank as there is a large and loud ac unit on the backside of the hotel. Also, the pool is very small and there were mostly kids in there, so I figured there would be plenty of pee. Needless to say, we didnt get in. The only negative to this was place was that they charge you 10 dollars a night for parking on top of the hotel room charge. Still, for $79, it was not bad at all since its at a good location. Oh, and the A/C rocks!

As a previous review highlighted, this Sheraton Suites is just about next to the highway- not a pleasant feeling. And although it is only two blocks from the Galleria Mall, it is in a VERY CONGESTED traffic area and walking the short distance is not the safest move. The hotel's shuttle service is a better alternative for shoppers.

The hotel itself offers roomy suites with the ability to close off the bedroom from the living room with large sliding, solid (no glass) pocket doors. There is also a large vanity area accessible from both the living room and bedroom. The shower/ toilet area is very small and has poor lighting and improper ventilation (as so many hotel bathrooms do). There is a small kitchenette area in the living room. The decor is nothing special. The bathroom feels very basic. Calling the suite large is about the best thing that can be said for it.

Given the other options in the area, I'd stay elsewhere on a future visit.

If you're in town for business and nothing else this will do but that's it. Large room so that's a plus. Hotel is pretty much on the highway so that isn't too good and area kind of sucks. Nothing there. Maybe that's just Houston though. Not sure.

The Omaha Steakhouse in this hotel is very expensive and the service wasn't very good. We were forced to order from an over 2 hundred dollar seven course valentine menu,while everyone around my husband and I ate "good Ole steak and taters". Very dissapointing and expensive. The rooms had dirt in the vents, and weren't very detailed. Stay somewhere else.
