The hotel is located at the intersection of the beltway and I-10. Although you can hear traffice in your room it will not keep you up at night. Apparently the hotel was a Radission which has been totally remodeled. Although most of the rooms are in the high rise building there are also motel style rooms which open to the outside, all of the rooms including the motel style rooms have been redone. The rooms have flat screen TV's with a lot of stations to view. There is a bar/cafe in the lobby which is very hip and reasonably priced. The beds are very comfortable. There is a gym with alot of equipment for this level hotel. I stayed in a one bedroom suite which has 2 flat screen tv's, a wet bar and an updated bathroom. All the furnishings have been updated to a modern design including a hardwood floor foyer. Unfortunately there is no fridge or microwave in the room. The rooms do not have central A/C rather wall units. Avoid buying drinks from the gift shop, they are half the price at the vending machine by the outside pool. I have a customer in the area and will try to stay here from now on when I'm in Houston. I previously use to stay at the Four Points off I-59 and Kirby but not anymore. Although the Kirby address is in a better area the hotel needs to be updated. Both hotels have wonderfully helpful staff. Parking is free at both hotels.
