Stayed 4 nights at the Omni off Woodway drive. The hotel is very dated, in fact it doesn't look like the hotel has had improvements since the '80's. Hallways are dark, elevators have old Four Seasons Logo, carpets in rooms are worn and stained, bathrooms are old style. We booked through Travelocity "Good Buys" so we did not pay rack rate, but even so our first room was really bad. Carpet had very bad stains as did upholstered furniture. We would not have minded because we were not in the room very much, however the first night we kept hearing a motor turning off and on all night, which did not allow us to sleep. At first we thought it was the a/c, but then we figured out it was the ice maker across the hall. We asked to be moved the following morning. The second room was cleaner and quiet. The staff was nice, and I guess with the economy the way it is there probably won't be any plans for renovation anytime soon. It is just a shame because the Omni/Four Seasons off Woodway used to be one of the top hotels in Houston. There are far nicer hotels in Houston, so I wold not recommend nor stay here again. The staff was nice, but the place is worn down.

Elegant, lovely room. I truly enjoyed this tremendous hotel. Please dont go here, i wanna keep it a secret for my dam self!

Attentive, helpful, and courteous staff, Clean room (not easy to control temp), very comfortable beds & bedding. Free self parking steps from the hotel. Very prompt and courteous valets that recognize the guests.

No glitches with reservation, bellman took care of luggage for multiple rooms without confusion. Room rates were reasonable.

An overall excellent experience that added to our stay in Houston.

I have stayed at numerous hotels in the Houston area on business and the Omni rates as one of the top end ones.

Location is within short driving distance (no more than 5 mins) to the Galleria Mall, Westheimer and the Uptown area. Basically you are not short of shopping, drinking and eating options!

Hotel itself was well kept with a modern lobby and the service upon arrival was very friendly and helpful. Room (king bed) was large and clean with the usual amenities you would expect at this price range, though maybe not as modern as you would assume from the lobby decor. Breakfast was a choice of a la carte or buffet. I opted for the buffet with a good selection at hand and eggs made to order for you. Driving access from the I-10 is relatively painless with only the navigating once in the Riverway being slightly confusing, though signs are there if you can spot them in time at night!

If you are looking for a similar hotel in the area, the JW Marriott across from the Galleria is also a good bet with both very similar in my opinion.

Cannot really comment on the other facilities the hotel has to offer as this was only an overnight stay for me
