We just spend the weekend at the Hilton Nasa and it was perfect. We were given a room on the penthouse floor overlooking the lake. The front desk staff were so friendly and accomodating. The rooms were immaculate. I do agree with a previous review that some of the staff (maids, food area) do not speak or understand English but it didn't interfere with the stay. We were also given coupons for a continental breakfast but you can also use them to upgrade to the Breakfast Buffet for only $5.00 more. Can't beat that. The variety at the buffet was amazing. One last note, my husband and I were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and the hotel sent us a bottle of wine and a dozen chocolate covered strawberries! It really toped off our weekend getaway.

Visited the Houston area for a long weekend which included visits to Space Center Houston and Kemah Boardwalk. We like a full-service hotel and the Clear Lake Hilton did not let us down.
Views from the HHonors floor overlooking the lake were great and our rate included continental breakfast vouchers with a $5 upgrade to the full buffet-$10 for breakfast for two is still a deal. Rooms were recently renovated and quite up to Hilton/4 star standards. Even with at least two weddings in the hotel the staff didn't seem over-taxed and was quite friendly. I will definitely use this hotel again.

Hotel needs some major renovations. Air conditioning was noisy. Room I was assigned initially was smelling of smoke, though designated as non-smoking. Noisy too as the noise from other rooms could be heard clearly through the interconnecting doors. I was shocked to find that my 10 minute call to Canada cost me 50 dollars. Would not recommend this Hotel unless you are desperate.

We spent 2 nights in Houston and decided to get a hotel by Clearlake. Hotel was good, great beddings and pillows. However, when you check out, make sure you don't leave anything in your room. My daughter left a CD (autographed) in our room and I have contacted the hotel 4 times but I still have to hear from them. For a hotel like Hilton, I was expecting they would at least return my call to let me know whether they have the CD or not. I've been waiting for a week now.
