This was my first stay at the Hilton Southwest . I found the staff to be very friendly and made me feel like a VIP upon my arrival. I was very happy and would stay again!

Having reasonably high expectations of a Hilton property, my first glance into the lobby did not leave a positive impression as there were security guards patrolling it.
The service was patchy at best as staff seemed to prefer wandering off to do their own thing to serving the guests. Ordering a drink at the bar was near impossible as there were no staff, on the plus side the person who finally served us did not charge it to our room as requested.
The common areas needed a good clean and we were given dirty cutlery at brunch (which was hugely overpriced by the way) then got to listen to the restaurant manager shouting at a member of staff for not washing cutlery.
Half of the gym equipment was broken.
During the course of our stay my husband and I saw someone getting chased, someone else getting hauled away in an ambulance and a guest whose car had got broken into in the carpark.
On the plus side, the room was pleasant and clean, although on the small side and noisy.
I could go on, but the overall impression I wanted to give is that I would honestly avoid this hotel like the plague...

We had the worst experienced from this hotel! It was bad that i couldn't wait to share this to all of u planning to visit Texas.I've been to diffrnt hotels ... and Hilton hotels, but boy to my surprise,this hotel is the worst of the worst. On the day of our check-in,i found left over candies,coins & candy wrappers in the drawers,the bedside phone can't even dial-out,and i let that go but the next day,.. it gets worst,HOUSEKEEPING didn't even came to service our room and we we're out from 9:30am till 10pm!! Can u believe that?! I'm a housekeeping supervisor on one of the prestigious hotels and i know a good housekeeping when i see one and boy this hotel diffinitely dont even categorized as 1 star hotel.I even tested the housekeeper on our 3rd day if they will change the sheets, and guess what? They didnt! Even to our last day in the hotel,sheets wasn't change,and we we're there for 5 days.Never again,and never recommend this hotel to any travelers.

Room was ok as was the price, but the hotel is REALLY noisy. On our second night the entire 2nd floor was booked for a birthday party and the music floated up the elevator shaft. I thought the music was from across the hall and it was actually 8 floors down. I complained 4 times and the front desk said they couldn't do anything about it because catering had booked the party and they didn't have authority to shut it down (HUH????). I couldn't leave or switch rooms because my 2 kids were fast asleep in an adjoining room. Better me on no sleep than them. The next morning I recieved a 75% refund which appealed to the cheap side of me. I felt sorry for the others who had reserved (and paid from on-line sites)- they couldn't get a refund from the hotel. I would NEVER stay again - a VERY unsafe location - would book something in Galleria.
