I travel to Houston for business at least six times a year and this was the most frightening hotel I have experienced in the area. The neighborhood is commercial/industrial and feels unsafe at night.
In spite of an effort at remodeling, the age of this property shows through. The lobby and rooms smell of paint. Rooms only show a superficial effort at remodeling.
The staff at the front desk is more interested in continuing their conversation than helping a gold level Hilton HHonors member.
Breakfast in the restaurant was a major disappointment. Food was greasy and there was a lack in variety.
