Stayed here on business back in January and it was fine for one night. Much more likely would have driven me stir-crazy. Room was decent - good-sized and clean - but certainly could have used a facelift. Parking was - as noted in other reviews - a bit inconvenient.

Look elsewhere in the neighborhood if you're staying near the Medical Centers. I certainly will next time.

Stayed at this place for 3 days. The parking system is *really* bad. No In/Out previliges if you self park. That means, you have to pay each time you go in and out!As an alternative, you can choose Valet Parking by paying $15 + tips! Looks like the management has a scheme to fleece its patrons!Service was poor. I couldnt understand what the front desk lady was saying, because of a foreign accent!Stay here, only if somebody else pays for it! There are better places to stay aound...

I spent a night at this hotel complements of someone other than myself.
I really do not have anything negative to say about the experience; the room was large, clean, and quiet and the staff was efficient and competent.

That being said, I have trouble seeing why most customers would want to stay here. The hotel is not at all cheap and parking is expensive by Texas standards. One could stay at a far less expensive location and drive in to the area. For travellers without a car with business at the medical center or at Rice, I suppose this would be just fine.

Reserved one room, got two when arrived, got that straitened out, got small room with food ground into carpet around desk. Ordered Buffalo Wings, arrived and had average taste but had "pin" feathers sticking out all over several pieces. Requested high floor (28 available) for weekend with my wife of 36 years (hoping romantic view), got 17th floor looking into office building about 100 yards away. No view ......I am OK but wife is LIVID.............Will look for better deal next time....
