Changed over from a hotel nearby looking for a extended stay hotel with larger rooms. Stayed a total of 22 nights. The suites are HUGE - pretty much the size of a small apartment. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The internet was super-fast by hotel standards. Will I be staying here again? Not unless the hotel receives a much needed renovation. The rooms are showing its age and the air conditioners are noisy. The kitchenettes in the suites have antique appliances. Mine also had no cutlery, or pots and pans - somewhat defying having a stove over there.

The staff were always VERY helpful and friendly - one can see they are trained by a well-established hotel chain.

I have stayed there in double tree several times. The hotel is very central, located next to galleria. The suites that you get are huge, enormously large. You absolutely have more than what you need in terms of lodging. The room interiors are not very contemporary. It feels like they have not done any renovating since ages. The beds are sometimes way too soft for my taste. I like to sleep on firm mattresses. Other than that the breakfast is decent. Not too much of selections but still tasty. There is a swimming pool and a hot tub. The gym is small but functional. I would strongly recommend staying there. Do not forget to tip the guys in the breakfast hall, they can be very ignoring :)

I stayed here for business trip for more than 1 week. I choose this hotel because I always stayed here for all my Houston trip and it was always a pleasant time for me.
But this time, is not what I expected. There are few issues happened during my stay :
1. No water (at all!!!) for few hours (9 pm to 3 am)
2. Miscommunication with the room service
But, except for what I mentioned above, this hotel still win for the great location (to galleria and also to my office).
and the room and the breakfast are very nice.

I am enjoying my stay here but am baffled by the disconnect between the "Conserve to Preserve" policy and the reality. The person who cleaned the room ran the full-size dishwasher for two plates and two knives. That is NOT conservation!
