“Great Empanada's”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Found this place by accident, was a great discovery and this place is almost a local institution. They were great empanada's and we ended up ordering more and Linda's Chicken we very good, a bit of time warp back to the 70's and rustic café ambience. We will be back

“Loved these Empanadas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

These hot and tasty empanadas are great! The dessert empanadas are the best.....raspberry and peach! Yummy! Two meat or cheese empanadas, then a desserts empanadas and you are full and satisfied. Service was good ......prices were normal, not too expensive for the area and amount of food! A great place for a quick lunch or afternoon treat!

“Did we eat at the same place?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We bought over $36 worth of empanadas because we were under the impression that they were delicious. What a big mistake. Only one of the dozen or so empanadas we purchased were just OK. Listen folks, you don't have to do so many different exotic things to empanadas to make them delicious. Well seasoned ground beef or chicken is all you need. The ingredients in these empanadas didn't tie together at all. I've eaten empanadas all over Latin America and the Caribbean and these were my biggest disappointment. For those who are unable to make a trip out of the country for a good empanada, go to Versailles in Miami (even while your at MIA airport). Very good empanadas. I've had better empanadas in a service station in Honduras.

My wife even purchased a package of their cookies. They were stale. Case closed.

“Something Different”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

Empandas! This was a good change in pace after eating the same ol for a while. FYI: They have a coupon on their website for a free dessert Empanada. They will also freeze some Empanadas for you if your wife is like mine and won't let you back in the house without bringing some back on the plane with you.

The atmosphere was very casual and the staff was also very nice. I will be back.

“Good and cheap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

Good empanadas for a very reasonable price. Not the best though (I've tasted far better ones outside the US) The sweet ones (with homemade fruit preserve) are a pleasure as well: do try them ! The place also sells various argentinan products (maté, alfajores...etc)
