“Don't waste your money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

Spent $6 to park and then $24 to get in (with a senior discount)!!! First thing we saw was a snake show like at a zoo. Tram took us to the Space center where amock up of the now defunct Space Shuttle was there. All you saw was the open bay with a lot of wires. Better view of a real shuttle at the Smithsonian and it doesn't cost a cent.

“Witnessing history up close and personal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

What a valuable trip this is! If you are in Houston with time to spare, spend an afternoon here to appreciate the majesty of the space program from its inception to the present day. You will see replicas of the major space vehicles, rockets, lunar modules and rovers while appreciating in person the magnificent size and stages of the Saturn V rocket. The talks, films, tours and hands on exhibits make it well worth the visit. For those with AAA memberships, children and senior citizens, there are discounts. Food is also available. You will come away with a new appreciation for the dedication and creativity of the space program.

This is a great place to take kids! A lot of interactive educational things for kids and adults. Nice picnic area outside.

“Boring. Nice playground.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

Sorry, aftet Cape Canaveral in Florida, I was expecting something different for Houston. They have a show for kids really cute, but the kids didn't pay attention. We climb the stairs to see "mission control" and was interesting. The training spot was totally fake.

The all day tour is well worth the money. Even includes lunch. Very interesting for everyone, even seniors and younger.
