I have stayed at dozens of Courtyards across the country. They are my hotel of choice, because they are so very consistent and offer the business traveler everything they need. This trip was a combination of business and pleasure with my wife. The Courtyard Galleria now stands at the top of my list of favorite Courtyards. We spent three nights at this wonderful hotel and it ranks as one of the best lodging experiences I have had.
It all starts with the people. The front desk is Top Notch. Heather and Crystal checked us in and remembered us by name throughout our stay. It felt like we were staying at a Five Star boutique hotel. Other front desk personnel were similarly friendly and helpful.
The room was spotless; the linens and bed were extremely comfortable. The air conditioner was fairly quiet and controlled by a wall thermostat.
Breakfast was the typical Courtyard buffet - nothing special, but very good.
The location is across from Houston's Galleria. Everything you could possibly need or want is minutes away.
In writing reviews, I always try to be objective and report both the pros and cons. Sorry fellow travelers....I can't find anything negative to report. So, if you are looking for a place to stay in the Galleria area of Houston, you need look no further.
