We attended a wedding this weekend close to the ZaZa. There were 3 couples that stayed there and we had a great time.
I must admit I was apprehensive after reading the reviews, but we did not have anything happen that was negative in any manner. When we checked in on Friday around 4PM they were serving champagne and handing out color flashing rings. Room check in and valet was very easy. We went to the room stashed our belonging. and went to the lobby to meet up with friends. The cocktails were a great touch.
They shuttled us to the wedding about a mile away and gave us a number to call to pick us up. Everything was very prompt. After the wedding we closed down the lounge and finally retired to our very comfy bed at about 2:30AM.
Our room had a view of the pool. I was a little nervous from previous reviews that the windows would not have coverings in the bathrooms, but they a were frosted. Ventilation was not the greatest in the bathrooms, but we just turned the A/C lower. The bathrooms included hairdryers and even a scale. They were a little on the small side but they were adequate. It did freak me out when we went back to the room for a quick freshen up and tie removal before we went to the lounge, and I saw that the wash cloth and towel I used earlier was gone. But then realized that they had added fresh towels and turned the bed down, adding a tube of chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
Check out also went smoothly since we used the express check out. Our valet was on $21 plus tax.
When we originally tried to book the room we were told that they did not accept 1 night reservations. But a few days before the 1 night reservation was confirmed via email.
We really enjoyed our stay!
Pros - Very swanky place, upscale furnishings and amenities
Cons - small bathroom, slower elevators at busy times
